At Texas VIP Rescue, we believe in the power of community to make a positive impact on the lives of pets. Join our collaborative network of pet lovers dedicated to providing love, care, and support for Texas’ homeless pets!
Foster
Foster families keep pets out of shelters and off the streets. They help pets blossom while awaiting adoption or transport. Foster stays average 3 weeks to 3 months.
Adopt
Adopting pets that have lived with foster families means more knowledge and support for adoptive families and happier, well-adjusted pets.
Educate
Animal welfare educators will speak at your school or corporate event about responsible pet ownership, the homeless pet crisis, or animal welfare careers.
Train
Training is one of the biggest factors for keeping families together after adoption. Families that engage in training with their pet have stronger bonds and happier relationships.
Transport
Texas has more homeless pets than adoptive homes and shelter space. Sending pets out of state for adoption saves the life of that pet and opens up shelter space for another.
